One of my favorites

One of my favorite Tonner dolls is the Mameha/Layne sculpt. This girl was originally an FAO exclusive Mameha that has had her hair taken down and straightened. She has a really full head of hair. She is on the Tonner small bust body.

Dressed here in Sister Dreary's original outfit.

She remains one of my favorite factory dolls that Tonner has produced. I'm going through my Tonner dolls and trying to weed out, so I will have more time to photograph and enjoy the dolls I end up keeping. Mameha is definetely a keeper on my list.

Dumbledore.......

Since I didn't add the adult sized dolls in the original Harry Potter line, when Tonner announced he was going to produce the dolls in scale with the Tyler sized dolls I knew I wanted to get all the characters if I was able to swing it. I've been eyeing Dumbledore for a while, waiting for him to go on sale, and finally nabbed him last week.

He's a great likeness. One of Tonner's best character likenesses IMHO. Really looking forward to what he's going to do next in his scale. I'd love to see Snape released in this scale as well..............and both Malfoy's and Beatrix, and Neville and Ginny and so on, and so on, and so on, LOL!

Dot, dot, dot...........

Just a few new pics of some of the girls wearing polka dots out by the pool. First up is the first Basic Oz dressed in Brenda Starr's Bathing Beauty suit.
Next up we have Vasilisa wearing one of my all time favorite polka dot dresses from the Gene line.
And lastly Breathless, who is an absolutely beautiful doll, wearing Betty Ann's Mirror, Mirror also from the Brenda Starr line.

June Brides

I love bride dolls, and have quite a few of Tonner's bride dolls that he's done over the years as well as some bridal gowns done by other companies, modeled by my Tonner dolls. I haven't taken any new pics of my brides in quite some time, and a few of them, like this first girl have never had their portraits done so I thought it was about time.

I can't even remember any more what company put this first bridal gown out, but I know the "original" dolls name was "Erin Bride". I sold the nude doll and Tonner's "My Sweetheart, a Cherished Friends exclusive Sweetheart doll" took over the modeling of this beautiful bridal gown. It's a favorite of mine.

Just a new pic of Elizabeth Swann bride with Will Turner, from the Pirates of the Caribbean series. I had never taken a picture of the two of them together, so thought it was high time for that as well.

The new guy on the block.........

I've had this guy for a while, just never gotten around to taking his picture. Since I do love the mandolls, when I saw Tonner had done Russell in the Jac skintone I knew he would have to come live with me eventually.
When I caught him on sale right after the first of the year, I bit the bullet and bought him. I have to say, I really do love this skintone for Russell. The hairstyle makes him appear a bit harsh in head on shots, but in person he's not as harsh as he sometimes appears in photos.

Staying Cozy.......

Just one shot today of Beauty and Brains redressed in Ellowyne's "Combating Fatigue". The outfit is a great fit on the Antoinette body. The jewelry is a tad out of scale for my taste, so I have replaced it with different jewelry here, but I love the outfit on her.

Beauty and Brains.......

I've wanted this doll since she first came out, but I didn't want to spend the asking price and was hoping I would find one on sale eventually. I wasn't sure of her outfit, I mainly wanted the doll. I have always loved the Deanna Denton sculpt, just am not a fan of the full figured body.
When I saw her FS on Bearzabout last week I finally caved. After having her in hand I have to say, I think the outfit will work nicely as mix and match pieces. The boots are really cute and the top and skirt are cute when paired with other pieces as well IMHO. She is wearing an Ellowyne skirt here with her default top, boots and tights. I hope Tonner will use this sculpt on the Antoinette body again, as I think it works well, and gives those of us that don't collect the full figured gals a chance at getting this gorgeous sculpt.

Cami and Simon

Just playing a bit with one of my "younger" couples today. I think Cami and Simon make quite a striking pair.
I always loved Francie almost better than Barbie when I was younger. The Antoinette/Cami line reminds me a lot of the "Francie" line. Maybe that's why I enjoy these dolls so much. I"m hoping to be able to pick up a few more of the separate outfits at the end of the year.

A beautiful new addition.......

This beautiful lady arrived recently. She's the first repaint I've bought in quite a while, but when I saw her posted FS on LN Harris' site right after I received the gorgeous little Willow in the mail as a gift from a dear friend, I knew I had to have Shye to be Willow's mom.
I couldn't be more pleased with how they look together. They really look related IMHO.

The gorgeous Ian, a repainted Jeremy by Tracy Weston, rounds out the family (for now anyway). I may have to add an additional sibling when the right one comes along.

For now, I think these 3 make a wonderful addition to my group of families.

The vampire and the werewolf........

I have been waiting to add Jacob to my collection...........hopeing to eventually catch him on sale, so when TOnner had the big black Friday sale, I couldn't resist adding him and Alice too. Keeping fingers crossed that the newest Edward and Bella will go on sale again when my funds replinish a bit.
I'm really pleased with both dolls. I hope Tonner will offer more separate outfits for the Superhero body. It seems the 2 male outfits he offered this year are sold out most everywhere. I"m keeping my fingers crossed that means he will offer more in 2011.

Alice is so pretty..........her wig is wonderful and the outfit is really wonderful as well.

A favorite couple..........

This weekend I began dressing my doll families for Christmas. Since I have several doll families now, it takes a while to get them all ready. While also getting out some of my Christmas decorations for the house, I decided to get an early start on my doll family Christmas pictures this year.
One of my favorite couples is Friday and Russell. The Friday Foster sculpt is so beautiful. She's my favorite AA sculpt that Tonner has done to date. I wish he would bring her back and incorporate her into Tyler's world somehow.

The Potter crowd........

The family went to see the new Harry Potter movie yesterday and it put me in a bit of a Potter mood, so I decided to play with my indoor lights and take a few pictures of the Potter crowd last night. As I stated before, I never bought all the dolls in the original size. I do have Draco that isn't pictured here, but I don't have any of the adults.

Hubby is getting me the 12" Ron and Harry for Christmas and I can't wait to get Dumbledore as well. Really, really looking for lots more to come in the new scale. That being said, I do love the original dolls too. I think the likenesses were really well done and the costumes are wonderful.

Romantic Muse............

Just a few new shots of one of my favorite Antointette's, Cameo Muse, wearing one of my favorite Cami fashions, Romantic.
She's wearing a Tonner wig that came with one of the Trends dolls a couple of years back.

I rather like her as a redhead.

Ginny comes to town........

I've been planning to add Ginny to my Harry Potter collection since her introduction, but I admit to waiting for a sale. When Cherished Friends put her on sale this week I had to go for it.
She arrived today and I took her outside for a few quick pics...............Harry came along and was included in this shot.

I really do like her. She rounds out the shelf in my cabinet devoted to the original Potter collection quite nicely. I"m planning on getting most of the new scale Potter collection as long as my pocketbook holds out. Really looking forward to what comes next.

Professor McGonagall..........

I've been a huge fan of the Harry Potter books and movies since the beginning. I remember being so thrilled to hear Tonner had gotten the license to produce the dolls, and then a bit disappointed when I heard they were going to be a different scale than the Tyler Wentworth line.
I ended up caving and getting Harry, Hermione and Ron from the original line, and then added Draco as well. I never bought any of the adults though, because they were too big for the shelves in my cabinet. At Toy Fair this year, when I heard that Tonner was going to redo the line and make the dolls in scale with Tyler's world, I knew I was going to be in trouble. Recently I brought the first doll to be produced in the new scale , Professor McGonagall.

I really like her! I"m very excited to see Harry and Ron when they start shipping. I have heard that Hermione is definetely coming as well, and I was also told that Tonner confirmed he would be doing Dumbledore in this new size. One can only hope Voldemort, the Elder Malfoy and Bellatrix will be redone in this size as well......................................and how about the rest of the kids. I'm really hoping for Draco at least, as well as maybe Neville? And how about Mr. and Mrs. Weasley............wouldn't that be fun? Yay for Harry Potter!!

Artemis...........

I wasn't going to "go there".........I haven't bought a 13" size fashion doll in several years. I was determined not to get sucked into the new Revlon line. I thought I was safe as I really am not a fan of the 13" Revlon sculpt, then I saw Artemis.
I really love some of the clothing in the 13" line, so when I saw Artemis FS on Tonner Direct, in a moment of weakness I caved and ordered her. She arrived today, and she's really beautiful. Her body is a miniature version of Antionette's body. She's so fun to pose and play with..........and she can sit like a lady.

At least I'll have a model to wear some of the cool clothing Tonner has for this size now. I think I'm acutally going to have a lot of fun with this one.

Outside with Cami........

I've been slowly redressing my Antoinette bodied dolls for fall. Since I've taken very few pics of Cami since her arrival, I decided to take her outside for some new pics today.
She's wearing Ellowyne's Always Playing Solitaire, which fits her perfectly.

I really love the Cami dolls. I just wish Tonner would give her a new hairstlye soon. I'm tired of the long scrunched hair look. I've been holding out getting anymore Cami's until we get a new hairstyle.

In an Ello frame of mind........

Ello has been sitting on my dresser for weeks dressed in "I Couldn't Care Less". She looks so cute wearing this outfit I decided she deserved to come down for some pictures today. I only have one Ellowyne, but I really, really love the one I have.
She will be getting a sister soon. I have to admit to caving on the Modern Doll Ello. That outfit and pale skintone won me over. It will be nice to have a raven as well as a blonde. I guess a redhead will be next, and then I"ll have a haircolor for every outfit,LOL!

And lastly, a shot of the adorable PJ's under that amazing robe. Ellowyne really does have the most amazing clothes. I think I like her wardrobe better than any other Tonner line (although I have high hopes for Antoinette/Cami/Jon.

Confidential Muse...........

I've really liked this Antoinette outfit since I first saw pictures of it. Finally took the plunge and got one when Tonner direct had them on sale a couple of weeks ago.
Cameo Muse Antoinette offered to model wearing a Monique wig. I've forgotten the name of the style, but I really like it on her.
