Lady in Red

 Enchanted Kate arrived yesterday and I had a bit of fun playing with redressing and re-wigging her this morning. First up I will share a photo as she came out of her box. Love that we got shoes and jewelry with the dolls on this release, both will be very useful with mix and match opportunities. The little dresses the Enchanted girls came in are adorable as well. They even have little zippers in the back.

I wanted to see how different she would look as a brunette, so pulled out a dress I got from Elenpriv before the war between Russia/Ukraine prevented Russian sellers from being on Etsy. I thought this curly wig would frame her face well, as she does have a bit of a narrow jawline. LOVE this look for her. She rocks being brunette IMHO.

I think Kate will prove to be very versatile, and I'm thrilled with this vesion of her. The original Kate from Dangerous Love didn't speak to me, but Enchanted did loudly. As I've probably said before on the blog, I have a thing for red lips. Enchanted Kate's makeup is just stunning.

I continue to be blown out of the water with each installment of the Muses collection, and eagerly look forward to the rest of my Enchanted goodies, which will hopefully arrive next week. I'm also keeping my fingers crossed for leftovers!

Shopping at Dior

 Before the Muses came along the East 59th ladies, designed by Chris Stoeckel at Integrity, were the ones that brought me back over to the 12" size after years concentrating on the 16" crowd and then the even larger Ipleouse Asian BJD's. I've been playing around with the different back grounds I've accumulated over the years, trying to determine if they would work for the 12" crowd as well as the 16" dolls they were originally purchased for and I'm pleased to say I think this one of Christian Dior's shop is doable for the 12" ladies as well.

Festive Lights Constance was happy to head out for a bit of shopping.

The back drops really do add another fun layer of options for photo taking.

I think I will be investing in some more of them now that I know MOST of the ones I have do double duty, and even triple duty with some of my Iplhouse FID sized dolls in some cases, if I just change the height when setting them up. I think this Constance is just stunning, even though I see she is still in stock at a few retailers.

Lady Luck

 Lady Luck was with me earlier this week when a couple of Enchanted Lilly's were put up FS on the Jamieshow website and I was able to snag one. She arrived today and I couldn't be more thrilled with her. I should know if in doubt just pre-ORDER already. I had been kicking myself as soon as I saw the owner pictures and realized her eyeshadow wasn't quite as "glittery" as I was afraid it might be from the promo shots.

In person it is much more understated. This is my favorite version of Lilly so far, and I hemmed and hawed during her pre-order period as to whether or not I should get her. In the end I was afraid the glitter would be too prominent for me and I passed her by. 

I'm counting my lucky stars I was able to add this lovely lady to my collection of Muses. LOVE her lip color, and I think she will end up being very versatile.

Eventually I'd like to have at least one of each of the sculpts. I have Kate coming from the Enchanted collection as well and am really looking forward to her. She shipped out today. Now I'm just missing Eshe (Please George if you are out there release another version of her), Nicole and Anya from the most recent Bonjour Paris collection. I don't have a version of "Grace" either, but I have Alexis and I know they share the same sculpt. Love that we got jewelry and shoes with the Enchanted girls as well as these adorable little ruffled mini dresses!

After the Ball

 After the ball is over, what's a prince to do? Reflect on how beautiful the princess was, and how much he misses her? Having way too much fun with these dolls. I love my men too, they aren't just accessories with me. I enjoy them as much as I do my girls.

Orlando ditched his jacket, he is wearing the shirt and pants from Dangerous Love Look 1. I also changed out his hair color to see how I would like him in the white wig. I have to say he pretty much rocks all the wig colors. Now we REALLY need a nice brunette wig cap for the guys and maybe auburn too!

One of reasons I was tipped over the edge on Aiden from the Bonjour Paris collection was that wonderful salt and pepper wig cap. I think that will look wonderful on Orlando too!

Short and Sassy

 Funny how I tend to gravitate towards certain wig colors for each of my Jamieshow Muse girls.  With Summer Kisses Sasha I tend to gravitate towards brunette and auburn for her, and I don't really have many auburn wigs, so decided to get this short style in that color for her, as I really love this style. Very chic and sassy! One of my favorite wig styles. I own three of the four colors that were offered and will probably go back and get the bronze if it doesn't sell out before I have some more alloted funds. yes, I'm a bit of a wig pig.

Sasha is wearing Look 14 from the Dangerous Love collection minus the hat and jacket, and with the addition of a bracelet from one of the other collections. I wish I had the funds to be able to buy most of the clothing for these dolls as it really is of exceptional quality.

The little bra-let top included with this set is amazing. I can't imagine sewing all those details in this scale. I didn't want to cover it up with the jacket (plus I didn't feel like changing hands, so there was a bit of laziness on my part involved too).

I'm never disappointed when opening a JS Muse collection box, and I am eagerly looking forward to my Enchanted goodies arriving!

In a Fairytale World

 Just playing a bit with Bella and her Prince (Orlando), inspired by Fairytales.

Bella is wearing Mattel Provencale from the Silkstone line. Orlando is in Musewear from the Dangerous Love line. Look 1 (mostly) paired with the jacket from Look 7. I love all the mix and match possibilities for the pieces.

Feeling Like a Princess

 Bella is feeling like a Princess modeling Matte's Provencale from the Silkstone line.

As I've been waiting for Jamieshow's Enchanted line to arrive, I just felt like putting one of the girls in something with the same "vibe" for some new photos. Bella was chosen to model. She's really become a favorite around here.

I think the silver hair suits her.

She really does look like a Princess. I need to dress up her Prince for some photos with her.

Pink and Platinum

 I wanted to do something different with Ginnie and see how the Muses worked with some of my backgrounds I bought with the 16" dolls in mind. I put the background on a shorter piece of tri-fold poster board, and I think it worked really well. I really want a romantic peignoir set for the Muse girls, but in the meantime I made use of one of my older Barbie fashions for Ginnie and I put her in one of the long straight wigs the Summer Kisses girls came in.

I continue to be amazed at how good Ginnie's skintone looks with the platinum wigs. The coolness of the platinum and the warmth of her skintone really mesh well for me.

This particular peignoir set is a little short on her, but it works as long as I don't do a full length shot. George/Owensu if you are out there somewhere I would love some romantic peignoir sets for the girls.

Look at the lashes, just beautiful. Dangerous Love Ginnie is in the top two of my favorite Muses I currently own, the other one being Alexis from the Summer Kisses collection, and Bella isn't far behind. 

I love Sasha's sculpt too, just not as much as Ginnie/Alexis or Bella. Ginnie's sculpt just has the perfect blend of feminine mixed with sexy/sultry. I have Kate coming from Enchanted and can't wait to see her in person to see how she compares.

Flashback

 Before the Muses came along, and I ate my words saying I wasn't going to go back to the 12" size............I collected the 16" size, and acquired a handful of the original Jamieshow girls along with some Jamieshow Gene and friends ( who I still love and need to get out for some new photos).  Ginnie has always been my favorite sculpt among the original Jamieshow girls, so I got her out for some new photos this morning. She is wearing a Tonner Peignoir set here.
